Our dedication to the planet began long before sustainability became a global priority. Philipp Wolf III cared deeply about the environment, he could see what the effects farming and humans were having on the rivers, fish and health of the waterways in Sweden. This deep-rooted responsibility for the world continues, under the leadership of Simon Wolf, 5th generation CEO, as WOLF evolves to meet ever-changing modern ESG+ standards across our global operations.

Innovation is at the heart of sustainable design. Many of our collections already feature plant-based materials and recycled materials made from apples, mushroom root structures and pineapples. Recycled materials are also a strong focus in our dedication to circular economy across the business. For the small percentage of products that still use leather, we ensure it is recycled or sourced exclusively from gold-rated tanneries. 

Our design team continue to research and explore new materials, sourcing from global fabric trade fairs with a focus of working towards our WOLF Pledge to eliminate all leather use by 2026.
