Why choose a WOLF watch winder?

Accurate rotation counts

Our patented WOLF winder technology counts every rotation of your watch, giving you full control over its TPD (turns per day) rate. All other watch winders simply use time to estimate the rotations your watch requires each day, but only a WOLF counts turns per day.

Directional options

Our watch winders provide options for clockwise, anti-clockwise, and bi-directional rotations. They also ensure your timepiece returns to the exact position you chose to put it in the winder, guaranteeing a complete winding cycle.

Lock-in Dynamic Cuff

Each watch winder comes with lock-in dynamic cuffs, adjustable to three wrist sizes, which ensure a snug fit when locked in the winder and an uninterrupted, comfortable winding cycle for your timepiece.

Luxury designs

Each design is handmade and uniquely curated for style and functionality. From vegan leather to cork, our materials are hand-picked to make sure your watches are kept fully wound in style.

WOLF offer a variety of watch winders to meet every need, ranging from the world’s smallest travel watch winder to watch winder cabinets capable of winding 12 or 16 watches at the same time, all depending on the size of your collection.

Watch winders: FAQs

Do I need a watch winder?

Yes, a watch winder is a great tool for anyone with one or more automatic watches. Using a winder will help your collection to run perfectly and removes the need to manually wind each piece every time you want to wear it. It also helps prevents watch functions such as dates and moon phases resetting themselves or falling out of synchronisation.

How do watch winders work?

Our luxury watch winders are designed to rotate your watch intermittently, mimicking the motion of your wrist. This prevents the watch from lying dormant when not in use, preventing it from eventually running out of power and stopping.

To store your watch in one of our watch winders, simply set your desired TPD (turns per day). Our luxury winders provide fully customisable settings for delayed starts, directional preferences, and TPD rates.

With a WOLF, you can rest assured that every watch rotation is being counted: never worry about over or under-winding your timepiece again.

How many turns per day does my watch need?

Each watch model is unique and requires a specific number of rotations per day to remain fully wound. At WOLF, we have created a watch winding specification database collating all the guidelines from major brands, meaning you can easily find out the optimum turns per day and direction of the turn you need to set your winder at for your individual timepiece.
